Ten Essential Attributes for a Successful Career

We all will unanimously agree that sheer hard work alone does not help a professional build a successful career. He/she has to inculcate several other attributes also. Here is my pick in a random order - the top ten qualities that one should possess or develop:

• Hard work
• Honesty and integrity
• Ability to make oneself visible
• Ability to handle politics at workplace
• Develop a strong network
• Achieve work-life balance. 
• Possess the right level of self-confidence
• Risk taking ability
• Teamwork
• Not getting drunk with the power of position
